Remiah Soto is a counseling intern at A Freeman’s Place Counseling with a deep-rooted passion for empowering women, advocating for mental health within minority communities, and walking alongside individuals on their journey toward healing and wholeness. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Counseling from Pillar College, where she is currently pursuing her Master’s in Counseling with a concentration in Marriage and Family Therapy. She is also a certified life coach with specialized credentials in Confidence Building, Emotional Intelligence, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT). Her approach is compassionate, client-centered, and rooted in helping people uncover their strengths and rewrite limiting beliefs.

With over 15 years of experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), she brings a unique blend of empathy, patience, and advocacy to every therapeutic relationship. Her commitment to holistic well-being extends beyond clinical practice, as she actively champions work-life balance, self-care, and emotional resilience.d with tools to obtain a better version of themselves.
