Najilah Muhammad is a Licensed Social Worker with a Master degree in Social Work from Rutgers University, with an emphasis in Community-Based Mental Health in Children and Adolescents. She provides services to children and families in Middlesex County and has experience supporting youth navigating trauma, mental health and behavioral challenges, court involvement, and school-related concerns.
Najilah is skilled in providing both individual and group support, relying on strengths-based and solution-focused approaches, incorporating CBT, art, and writing-based interventions to meet clients where they are. She strives to serve as a supportive bridge and advocate, assisting clients in their socio-emotional balance, communication, self-awareness, understanding, empowerment, and connection. Najilah’s goal is to create a grounding, restorative space where clients and their families feel heard and supported while developing the skills and confidence to navigate challenges and create meaningful change.
