Pre-Licensed Professional
Jade DiSanti is an intern at A Freeman’s Place Counseling. Jade has a Bachelor’s in Social Work from Temple University and is currently pursuing a Master of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Monmouth University. While social work has prepared her to understand systems and advocate for change, she’s pursuing clinical mental health counseling as it focuses more deeply on mental health diagnosis, treatment, and therapeutic relationship-building. Jade has completed coursework in Psychopathology & Psychopharmacology, Human Development Through the LifeSpan, Multicultural Counseling, and Case Conceptualization & Advanced Techniques.
Jade has worked with teens and adults, and her experience includes working primarily with Veterans navigating mental health challenges, substance misuse, and homelessness. She draws from a wide range of therapeutic modalities, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), multicultural, feminist, strengths-based, and client-centered approaches, and is especially interested in ecotherapy and spirituality—approaches that center nature, connection, and inner growth. Jade believes in the power of creating a space where people can show up as they are, reconnect with themselves, and begin to trust their wisdom again.
