Irva Excellent is a Licensed Social Worker with experience working with individual, family, and group counseling for depression, anxiety, relationships, and trauma. She received her Master’s degree in Social Work from Howard University, where she concentrated in Community, Administration, and Policy. For the past 10 years, Irva has worked with youth and young adults in some capacity. Resident advisor, counselor, mentor, and educator are just a few titles Irva has carried while advocating for the mental, emotional, and physical health of youth, individuals, and communities. Irva specializes in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and a combination of many other approaches that help individuals become equipped with tools to obtain a better version of themselves.
