Aresha Newcombe is a Licensed Social Worker with a Master’s degree in Social Work from Rutgers University. Aresha has experience supporting survivors of domestic violence and is certified by Rutgers University as a trained professional in Violence Against Women and Children. She specializes in working with individuals affected by abuse and neglect, as well as teens, caregivers, and families navigating crisis. Aresha’s therapeutic approach is strength-based, client-centered, compassionate, and collaborative.  She utilizes Psychodynamic Therapy to help clients explore patterns in relationships that may influence current functioning, along with Solution-Focused Brief Therapy and Motivational Interviewing.

Aresha believes every person carries strength, resilience, and the ability to create meaningful change, even in life’s most challenging seasons.  She strives to create a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space where clients feel heard, respected, and valued. Working collaboratively, Aresha helps clients process their experiences, identify their goals, and develop strategies that support their overall well-being.
