Our Executive Director
Brittany Freeman Jean-Louis is the Founder and Executive Director of A Freeman's Place Counseling, LLC, which was established in 2014. She is a licensed professional counselor with over 11 years of clinical experience, a writer, an educator and a speaker. She has worked extensively with a diverse population in a variety of settings. Mostly, her work has been with adolescents, women and families in residential settings, partial hospitalization programs, intense outpatient programs and the intensive in-home setting. Brittany desires to provide quality mental health care too all clients that choose the agency for their counseling needs. The agency's mission is assist clients in embracing their ability to change, grow and develop into healthy individuals. Brittany is excited about having a diverse snd culturally competent team of therapists that are ready to help clients "embrace the opportunity, discover the new you."
A Freeman's Place Counseling has a number of talented therapists that have an extensive range of clinical expertise to meet the needs of potential clients. Our therapist specialize in multiple therapy approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral therapy (DBT), Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TFCBT), Client Focused Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Family Systems Therapy and a list of other therapeutic approaches.

We believe that everyone should have an opportunity to receive mental health treatment regardless of income, access to insurance or financial hardships. Therefore, we are committed to working with each potential client on an individual basis regarding fees for service if they do not have insurance.
We are now accepting Medicaid.
